  Have been going to this restaurant for the past ten years for family celebrations ranging from groups of 8 to 25 people. To date I have to say have never been disappointed with any of the food on the menu. Staff are more than friendly and go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. Prices are very reasonable and the proof of the pudding is in the eating in that the restaurant has always been busy whenever our family group was there.

  I just wanted to say a massive thank-you to Kieran & staff at Murphy’s on the green for a wonderful job at my daughters Christening on Sunday. Everything was beautifully decorated & the food was so delicious & so many compliments to the chef at that!For anyone looking for a great location for a function, I highly recommend Murphy’s on the green! The staff take really great care of your party & every little detail & they are a credit to the businessSpecial thanks to Tina the bartender for our party, She did a fantastic job & was such a lovely girlThanks again everyone!!

  Wonderful food, service and also reasonably priced. Staff are all really friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

  My 2 daughters treated me to Murphys a couple of weeks ago and it was gorgeous, you won’t leave Murphys hungry as they always give a good feed , everything is so tasty and so are there strawberry daiquiris, the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is spotless

  Me and a friend went at lunchtime during the day for a quick bite, staff were polite and food came out quick. We both ordered the fish and chips, everything tasted lovely and fresh and we went away with full bellies saying we would be back. Had to apologise to staff member as i only had a card to pay so didn't leave a tip. Will leave double the next time we are passing through at work.

  My chicken curry was good. If ever back, I'd eat here again. Restaurant has a nice feel about it. Friendly staff. Good all round restaurant for all sorts of groups.

  Food quickly made and my God 1st time out cudnt finish a dish just too much and chicken in the curry was good big chunks. Partner said hers was lovely also but cudnt finish. Very well priced and 2 foxy

  my first time in Murphys in the green and what a meal, starter was to die for chilli beef noritos with cheese on top , had a steak which was prefect, the way in which I ask for it to be cook melted in

  We ordered the roast beef and the turkey and ham with sides. Both were well presented with plenty of food. The service was quick and friendly and I really couldn't fault anything about the restaurant

  Thoroughly enjoyed the Caesar Salad with chicken - only problem was trying to finish! Will most certainly re-visit.

  The food is just so tasty my fav chicken carbonara if bursting with chicken no cutbacks there, and the steaks are always cooked to perfection. Big portions every time you never leave Hungry. Very reasonably
