This is a cute friendly little cafe. Seems popular with the locals. The porridge that my friend had was fabulous looking and tasting by her account. The reason for 3 instead of 4 stars was the coffee was just average and no real coffee culture.
This place is worth seeking out/diverting to if ever you’re in the general vicinity of Belleek. The cafe oozes character, there’s ‘charm’ in very nook & cranny, the Locals love the place, service is polite and efficient...oh, and the fayre is salivatingly gorgeous. The scones had just come out of the oven... Mmmm ? Raspberry & white chocolate ? Cinnamon & Blueberry ? Fruit ? Plain... ??? We sampled the lot and can report that every one was delicious !
We had the lemon drizzle cake and warm chocolate cake. Both were scrumptious. Lovely service top. Would definitely recommend.

Called into the Thatch for lunch, beautiful surroundings with plenty of items of interest to look at while we waited for our food.Service was prompt and friendly, menu good for snacks/lunch/light meals. We really enjoyed our lunch and I would definitely recommend.
Lovely little coffee shop with plenty of food choice. The soup was absolutely lovely and no problem asking for more bread. A customer beside us asked if she could have soy milk with her coffee and the waitress said no problem. A few minutes later the waitress had her jacket on to pop out to the shop to buy some soy milk and came back quite quickly with it. I thought that was a nice touch. Very easy to access this place off the main Sligo-Donegal road and had plenty of parking too. Will definitely be back again.
We had a scone, coffee, club sandwich and soft drink. Very reasonably priced and lovely homemade food. Would highly recommend. We'll definitely be back :)
We stopped in for lunch (watch out - maps on iPhone has the wrong location - its on the main street) after reading past reviews and were not disappointed with our sandwich and baked potato options.
We had hot drinks and I had Chocolate fudge cake with Ice-cream which was delicious, My husband had the carrot muffin which was delicious too. Our daughter had a hot chocolate which was made to her request
Fresh soup and a baked potato was generous and piping hot. Very nice friendly staff polite and unrushed even when busy. Good wifi also. Would return.
There's a hot special which changes daily I think and a pecan pie to die for. It's a real Irish treat and great to see it do well as it's not common any more to get this family run , traditional service.
Eg mouth watering apple tart (home made), thick, traditional blended vegetable soup...but also bulky paninis/wraps with ingredients such as basil, goats cheese, caramelized onion etc (if my memory serves
Paninis for lunch followed by pecan pie & blueberry cheesecake. Delicious & very homely
My mum normally orders the baked potato and it is delcious too. The staff are super friendly. Well worth a visit.
I generally opt for their chicken, morzella, roasted peppers and homemade pesto wrap with the vegetable soup. I have yet to receive a bad lunch. My mum normally orders the baked potato and it is delcious
We just had a toastie and a panini followed by carrot cake and pecan pie. Very clean with a handy rent a bike and fishing tackle shop out the back.
I had a club sandwich that was perfectly prepared using quality fresh ingredients and quite probably the best I've ever had in any restaurant. Just on that note this is not a restaurant nor is it
We ordered and the food was served quickly and was delicious home made vegetable soup with warm rolls and a gorgeous club sandwich, soft drinks were not served in individual bottles or cans, so therefore
I had a bowl of home made vegetable soup and then a baked potato with frying mince and Greek yogurt . Both were very cheap considering the large portions and quality of the food. This Tatch cottage has
